UCD Conway Institute Postgraduate Course - MMI invites applications across institutions

The UCD Conway Institute, together with the UCD College of Life Sciences Graduate School, has enabled Molecular Medicine Ireland Education & Training to offer places on the following Structured PhD Taught Course Module to postgraduates based in institutions other than UCD.

Introduction to ‘Omic’ and Advanced Imaging Technologies
This course is designed to familiarise students with the principles, practice and application of the rapidly developing ‘omic’ and imaging technologies. It will comprise 10 x 3 hour seminar-style sessions covering bioinformatics, proteomics, genomics, transcriptomics and imaging.
Date: 16 February - 4 May 2009; 9.30am -12:30pm
Venue: UCD Conway Institute lecture theatre and computer laboratory

Molecular Medicine Ireland will award Certificates of Attendance to those who attend in full all components of the module. The Introduction to Bioinformatics component will be excluded from this requirement as places may not be available due to limits on class size.
Please note that in order to receive an MMI course attendance certificate you must sign the course register every day. Registration will be done by UCD Conway Institute who will provide MMI with the attendance record at the end of each module. This information will be used to award certificates.
