The RCSI Postgraduate Students Union and the School of Postgraduate Studies are organising the second Postgraduates annual careers afternoon, on Thursday 21 May from 1-6 pm. The event, which will involve talks from leading professionals, is designed to provide insight into various employment opportunities following masters or PhD degrees. 

The speakers will be experts from a broad spectrum of professions including: Recruitment, Clinical Bioscience, Academia, Industry, Academic-industrial partnerships, Technology Transfer, Media, and governmental bodies. For further information, please click here

The Postgraduates Careers Afternnon is driven by  the feeling that postgraduates would be better equipped to make more fitting career choices having had an insight into the careers of their peers. Last year's run of the event was a great success and was attended by about 200 postgraduates from RCSI, TCD, UCD and DCU. Very positive feedback were received about all the speakers. 

The event will be concluded with a reception, allowing for dialogue on a social and personal level
