The Alimentary Pharmabiotic Centre, University College Cork, are holding a one-day conference ‘Entrepreneurship - How to create a technology start-up’.

 

 

Chris Horn, founder of Iona Technologies, will give a keynote address on Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Cormac Kilty, founder of Biotrin, will present on the 4 pillars to success – Technology, Market, Team and Finance. Each of these four themes will be further developed by experts in these fields and backed up by case studies from successful Irish Biotechnology and Hi-tech start-up companies.

This event is open to anyone with a science/technology background with an interest in this topic, including PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, lecturers and members of the business community.
