This introductory workshop is to give participants and overview of the clinical trial process, regulatory environment as well as experiences for commercialisation and clinical trials in Ireland. Representatives from Enterprise Ireland, Science Foundation Ireland, the Irish Platform for Patients Organisation, Science and Industry and the Irish Medical Device Association to speak about initiatives for the development of opportunities in Ireland for the Medical Device Industry
