UCD Conway Institute Postgraduate Course - MMI invites applications across institutions

The UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular & Biomedical Research has enabled Molecular Medicine Ireland Education & Training to offer places on their Structured PhD Taught Course Module Molecular Neuroimmunology to graduates based in institutions other than UCD.

This module has attracted national & international graduates through its origins in a Marie Curie doctoral programme and in collaboration with Molecular Medicine Ireland.

Molecular Neuroimmunology
Course Content

  • How recent developments in neuroimmunology are changing established concepts in both immunology and neuroscience
  • Provides an overview of current and developing concepts in neuroimmunology from both neuroscience and immunology perspectives.
  • Familiarises students with the molecular and cellular elements of interconnectivity between the immune and nervous systems
  • Examines the effect of neuroimmuno interaction on physiological responses and disease processes

Date: 26 March - 28 May 2009; weekly (Thursdays); 9.30am -12:30pm.
