Molecular Medicine Ireland is pleased to invite you to attend a stakeholder seminar entitled, 

GeneLibrary Ireland - building an all-island biobanking framework through collaboration’
 
on Wednesday May 6th 2009 from 12:30 to 16:00
in the Physics Theatre Newman House, 85 Stephens Green, Dublin 2
 
This stakeholder seminar aims to bring together all relevant and interested stakeholders and to;
·         Provide an overview of the vision for GeneLibrary Ireland as defined by the design phase
·         Highlight the application of the GeneLibrary Ireland best practices guidelines to provide a standard framework for current biobanking activities
·         Provide an overview of developments in biobanking internationally and how Ireland could be best placed to participate in pan-European Biobanking Networks (Invited speaker: Professor Martin Yuille, Associate Coordinator for BBMRI and Archive Director of UK DNA Banking Network, University of Manchester, UK)
 
A light lunch will be served at 12:30pm followed by the presentations and discussion from 13:00pm onwards. A more detailed agenda will be available closer to the date.
