The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) is now accepting applications for ICS Research Fellowships and Scholarships 2009. The closing date for applications is 5 March 2009.

The ICS is the single largest voluntary supporter of cancer research in Ireland and is dedicated to promoting patient-relevant cancer research. The Society's strategic targets for 2008-2012 are the prevention of smoking in young people, early detection of colorectal cancer, and fighting cancer through information and support, including psycho-oncology.
