Salary: Depending upon relevant qualifications and experience to date, the appointment will be made on the Lecturer Scale: €38,277 - €77,249 / €79,822 - €87,739 per annum. The commencing salary will not exceed the 9th point of the scale i.e. €56,203 per annum.

This post provides an exciting opportunity to lead the functional analysis of schizophrenia susceptibility genes in a well-established SFI-funded research group. The primary focus will be the study of susceptibility mutations and polymorphisms identified from large-scale genome-wide association studies, to understand how dysfunction of molecular mechanisms contributes to schizophrenia pathophysiology.
